The Lord Poulett Arms

Set in the gorgeous hamstone village of Hinton St George, The Lord Poulett Arms is a traditional yet stylish thatched pub with rooms.
It is one of the best restaurants in South Somerset.
When we lived in this region, we often went to The Lord Poulett Arms with friends who visited us regularly from abroad.
Having a wonderful diner with friends next to a roaring fire. What’s not to like?
Established in 1680, this pub-restaurant has a very quintessential British feel to it and our friends just loved it!
The Lord Poulett Arms is the perfect place for long lunches, sumptuous suppers and in the warmer months you can dine al fresco.
You can also spend the night in one of the six classy but comfortable bedrooms.
So, have diner first and then head upstairs and unwind.
