The Cowshed is a beautiful old farm building that has been converted into a holiday cottage for two.

We have stayed here while exploring the Shropshire countryside and we loved it!

The property is very spacious and comfortably furnished with a well-equipped kitchen.

We thoroughly enjoyed having a big patio in front of the house because the view from the patio towards Ludlow is absolutely stunning!

Gill and Brian are the perfect hosts. They have turned this old farm building into a hidden gem in Shropshire!

The location is simply perfect!

Nestled on the lower west side of Titterstone Clee Hill, the Cowshed is an ideal base from which you can explore the Shropshire Hills AONB.

Being four miles east of Ludlow, with its castle and food and arts festivals, and less than eight miles from Cleobury Mortimer and Tenbury Wells, the property is ideally placed for exploring these market towns.

Walking

We had a great time exploring the Shropshire Hills on foot!

Just a few metres from the Cowshed you can join the Shropshire Way.

The Shropshire Way Main Route is a long distance path of some 200 miles, covering not only the wonderful Shropshire Hills in the South but also some of the historic towns and unique natural features in the North of the county.

Or head for Brown Clee Hill.

This is no country lane stroll, it takes you to high bleak moorland so be prepared and properly equipped.

It is only a 30-minute drive from the Cowshed to Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd.

A walker’s paradise!
