In the heart of the beautiful town of Burnham Market on the Norfolk Coast, Socius is all about sharing great food and having a wonderful time.

We have visited this Scandinavian style restaurant a couple of times and we cannot find anything we do not like!

Natalie and Dan have been running Socius since 2018 and they have received rave reviews ever since. And rightly so.

We especially love the fact that our muddy boots are always very much welcome.

Go and enjoy their incredible British tapas style food in a beautiful designed informal setting!

Burnham Market

Picture-perfect Burnham Market is probably the poshest village in North Norfolk.

It is even labelled ‘Little Chelsea’ and has a wide selection of galleries and boutiques.

If you want to avoid this metropolitan scene, then head for one of the other Burnhams such as Burnham Thorpe, Burnham Deepdale, Burnham Norton or Burnham Overy Staithe.

Walking

The Burnhams circular walk takes in Burnham Market, Burnham Norton, Burnham Overy Staithe and Burnham Overy town.

It is a varied and attractive 5,5-mile circular. The route crosses the River Burn twice and passes through farmland, past churches, mills, the ruins of a Carmelite friary and winding creeks.

Norfolk Coast Path

The Norfolk Coast Path runs from Hunstanton in west Norfolk round to Sea Palling on the north east Norfolk coast.

The majority of this walking trail runs through the dramatic landscape of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Experience seaside towns and villages, tidal marshes teeming with wildlife, wide sandy beaches, pine woodlands and huge skies.

If you would like to enjoy the highlights of this National Trail, then you can choose one of the many circular walks in this area, which include the best sections of the Norfolk Coast Path.
