The Kingham Plough is one of our favourite stopover places in the Cotswolds AONB.

This Gloucestershire pub with rooms was made famous by chef patron and Great British Menu winner, Emily Watkins. It has recently been taken over by Matt and Katie Beamish.

We haven’t noticed a change in quality. It is still a vibrant and popular hotspot in the Cotswolds.

In the weekend is gets terribly busy so pre book a table if you want to enjoy a lovely meal.

We can recommend the Ploughman’s Board. It was such a treat! Especially after an 8-mile walk.

You could also spend the night in one of the six individually furnished en-suite bedrooms.

Walking

Take a relaxing stroll to walk off that Ploughman’s Board or stride out on one of the long-distance trails across the Cotswolds.

Try the Kingham Station circular walk before lunch! You won’t be sorry because this very short walk starts in the picturesque village of Bledington.
