Valley of Rocks

Heading west out of the village of Lynton along the North Walk, a mile long path will lead you to the Valley of Rocks.
The Valley of the Rocks (also known as ‘Valley of Rocks’) is a dramatic section of coastline on the northern edge of Exmoor in north Devon.
The steeply curved heathland dominated by rugged rock formations attracts a lot of visitors each year.
Climb to the cliff tops and breathe in the fresh sea air. Enjoy the spectacular views across the Bristol channel to the North or over the rolling hills of the open moor and farmland to the South

Walking
Travelling west from Minehead or Porlock, follow the beautiful coast road towards the village of Lynton. The drive is well worth doing in its own right.
Lynton is the best starting points for coastal walks. From Lynton Cliff Railway Station a 3-mile circular loop will take you towards the Valley of the Rocks.
