Within the stunning East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, near the market town of Honiton, The Pig at Combe is one of our all-time favourites.

Whilst living in South Somerset, we often visited this beautiful venue which is nestled in the Otter Valley and just 15 minutes from the Devon coast.

From the village of Gittisham, it is a slow one-mile drive along the lane to the main house. Look around and enjoy some spectacular views across the 3,500-acre grounds and the rolling Devonshire hills.

This place is truly exceptional, and the owners have taken the traditional manor house hotel experience to a whole other level.

When entering the hotel, you will immediately arrive in the beating heart of this place, the bar and lounge area. The ambiance is cosy, informal yet very sophisticated.

Three walled gardens supply the award-winning restaurant, so the seasonal menus are ever changing. It is always a surprise which freshly picked ingredients from the huge kitchen garden will end up on the plate.

Within the manor house there are 17 carefully designed rooms. Plus 10 in the Stable Yard and three cottages a mile down the driveway.
